Jocelyn's Ryerson University Master of Arts major research paper explored notions of knowledge production and narratives of truth surrounding statelessness in Canada. 

Amanda Cheong. 2012. Changing Conceptions of Citizenship Among Stateless Chinese-Bruneian Immigrants in Vancouver
Amanda's University of British Columbia Bachelor of Arts thesis was chosen by the UNHCR Statelessness Research Award Jury as the Best Research in the Undergraduate Category. 

UNHCR. 2012. Proceedings of a Roundtable on Statelessness: Statelessness in the World and in the Canadian Context
In 2012, the UNHCR held a Roundtable "aimed to outline the contemporary situation of statelessness in the world, present the most common legislative gaps and challenges, such as obstacles to the enjoyment of human rights and the lack of durable solutions, and advocate for universal accession to the two UN Statelessness Conventions." Andrew Brouwer. 2012. Stateless in the Canadian Context: An Updated Discussion Paper
Prepared for the UNHCR, this paper is an updated version of the 2003 paper Statelessness in Canadian Context, also written by Andrew Brouwer. The 2012 version details the legislative and policy changes pertaining to citizenship and statelessness in Canada since 2003. The paper can be accessed here.
